Jamaican born Renee Segree, began riding at the age of 6, it
was not long before her love for equestrian sports and natural ability led to
her competing on the Jamaican jumping and eventing circuits. On leaving
Jamaica after high school, Renee enrolled at Meredith Manor Equestrian
Center where her focus was on Dressage and Teaching and graduated with
honors, with Certification in Teaching, and having gained years of experience
riding over 100 horses and logging more than 1000 hours of instruction.
During her time at Meredith Manor, Renee was able to continue her riding
education on upper level horses, riding to Prix St George and eventing to the
Preliminary level.
Students of Renee, have enjoyed numerous Championships in the
Hunter, Jumper, Eventing, and Dressage show rings. With her in depth
understanding of Sports Psychology and teaching, Renee is able to assist her
students in accomplishing their goals at every level, by placing utmost
importance on establishing the solid basics, while maintaining motivation and
confidence. She has trained many young horses as well as RE-trained ones that
got off to a bad start. Horses trained by Renee achieve athleticism and self
confidence, by use of her strong knowledge of horse psychology and proper
